Two weeks only but am very satisfied with the cooktop. New to induction and it is very reactive to temperature changing, as close as I could expect to gas. The knob control was one of the reasons we went with this model and are glad we made that decision. I would buy this cooktop again without any second thoughts.

Item never worked. Upon installation straight out of the box it would not stay on. It took 3 weeks to get service technician to come out. Every heating element is broken and the parts are on back order and instead of replacing the whole unit they want me to wait but they don't know when they would be back in stock. $2,900 unit and a piece of junk

We™™ve adjusted well to induction from gas. We loved our gas cooktop but became concerned with the potential health and environmental impacts of using it. The induction heats up almost instantly, faster than gas. We like the knobs for burner control. Very intuitive compared to to some of the touch controls that are needlessly complex.

I was looking for the BEST induction cooktop - first from a "Price is no object" position. My search took me to the Frigidaire Professional cooktop (FIPC3677RF). This was not only the best FUNCTIONING cooktop; but also, it was the best LOOKING cooktop. If that was not enough, with the sales and rebates offered, it was also EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!

We love our new inductions cooktop. Heats pans and pots faster than anything ever before. You have greater control of the temperature without the sacrifice of time. The glass surface is easy to clean and it's great not having to worry about hot surfaces as much as a normal cooktop.

Before purchasing this, I spent ~6 months using a Duxtop portable induction cooktop so that I could learn the ins and outs of induction cooking, and as a result I had some experience and expectations going into this.I specifically chose this Frigidaire model because it is controlled with traditional knobs, rather than a touchscreen menu, and has a reasonable price tag. I find buttons to give a very sad cooking experience, and I was alarmed at reviews of EVERY touchscreen model, which reported problems when the touchscreen got wet or even damp. BTW the knobs themselves are robust metal (not plastic), feel high quality, and are super easy to take off and clean. The cooktop itself gives a medium-pitch hum during operation. No high-pitched noises - in contrast to the portable unit which got constant complaints from the kids with their young undamaged ears. We all find the operational noise level quite reasonable. One minor complaint is that sometimes the cooktop will silently deliver less power than you have come to expect. For example, if you put a small pot on a large burner, it may deliver less power than if you put the same pot on a small burner. Also, I tried one of those silicone mats to prevent slipping and scratching, but the extra distance from the surface was apparently too much and reduced the power by 50%. I wish the cooktop would report when it reduces power. But I suspect all cooktops behave the same in this respect. In summary, this is a beautiful cooktop, with pleasing and intuitive knob controls, and has been performing very well in the 5 months we've been using it.

Very happy with this induction cooktop. I bought it because I liked the idea of having manual control over each cook element and because i'd read about many problems with touch control (water on the cooktop interferes, have to tap multiple times to adjust heat, etc.). It heats water rapidly, cooks smoothly and is easy to control.

I have waited so long for my new kitchen and we ordered all Frigidaire products. The dishwasher is quiet, but holds a lot of condensation, the fridge drawers seem cheap and watch the doors; they were dent very easily. I'll find out if my double oven is worth the money when I cook the turkey and ham in my double oven. I did purchase a 5 year warranty, but that has not panned out with this repair service for the past two months. My main disappointment is my 36 inch induction cooktop with the knobs. When we received it, it was already scratched up. I placed a review based on whether or not my cooktop was used or refurbished, but the review was never accepted. I hope this one will be. The largest burner on my cooktop is not working. Service men came, diagnosed, ordered the part, and we got the part in less than a week. We understood that the cost for the repair is over $1200, pretty much the cost of the cooktop (that I think was refurbished). Why couldn't they just order another cooktop for that cost? Meanwhile, appointments were not kept by them, we find out that another part is in backorder, and my newly scratched cooktop's largest burner is not working for the holidays. My brother decided to go with a gas cooktop and that is what I recommend. At this point, it doesn't seem that Frigidaire is going to accept any responsibility for this unfortunate occurrence, as I am sure their appliances are working fine for the holidays. Meanwhile, I will have to purchase a portable cooktop for my new Frigidaire kitchen with new Frigidaire appliances. All the best if you have the same cooktop!

This cooktop works well, it is powerful and sturdy. The knobs are much more intuitive than touch controls. The one thing I would change is to get rid of the "bridge" controls. First of all, the knob is confusing, not like the others. Secondly, I have yet to find an induction compatible griddle that fits the zone and is smooth surface. Perhaps for this price, Frigidaire should supply a suitable griddle. However, just leave off the bridge controls, it is easy enough to turn two knobs if you want to adjust a big surface temperature.

Purchased early in 2021 all new appliances from Frigidaire for our kitchen remodel. I've had 1 repair on the refrigerator and this is my second on the built in cook top! First one the large burner went out which was within the 1 year warranty. Now the motherboard has died and without an extended warranty its costing me almost $1000 with service call and install. When working, this cooktop model #FPIC3677RF is amazing! Tried to call Frigidaire for help and they tell you they are busy and hang up before you get to tell them your situation. Hate automation! I will have to write a letter.

4 Burners For The Price Of 5. What a piece of junk.
Hamertime614
5/5/2021
So we bought this unit about a year ago and right from the start there were problems with the large heating element. We've had no less than 5 service calls to address the same issue. The LARGE heating element just doesn't work correctly. It takes less than 1 minute to boil water on the 4 burners and more than 6 minutes to boil the same amount of water on the large burner. You definitely cannot use it to sautà or caramelize. it doesnt get hot enough. The service technicians AND their service managers dont know what they are doing and make up stories and lies to explain away the defects in the product. No where in the product description does Frigidaire imply that the large heating element is significantly slower or less powerful than the other elements. In fact it clearly states that the cook top "Adjusts from a powerful boil to a gentle simmer instantly". Part of this unit works great and the other part doesn't and for that its just not worth it. I need 5 wheels on a car. 4 drive wheels and a steering wheel and I need 5 burners on my 5 burner stove. I've gotten nowhere with the the vendor, Frigidaire or the service technicians. Not a happy chef at all.

I switched from a gas cooktop that consistently made pan handles too hot to touch before the water would start to boil. This cooktop boils water so much quicker, and because all the heat is generated in the bottom of the pan, the handles stay cool. The control knobs have the temp spin with the knob, which threw me off a bit at first, but it was easy enough to get used to. The knobs feel sturdy & the digital display gives you a number for how high it is set, so you have both to help you get consistent results.Cleaning is also a breeze with the flat surface to work with.

We bought the cooktop to replace a 20-year old radiant electric cooktop. The new cooktop was bought specifically because it knob controls and 18 power levels (plus a power boil). The ceramic glass cooktop is easy to clean. Pans heat up quickly and control is great... especially useful when using a pressure cooker. The stainless steel trim across the front gives a smart look to the kitchen. The cooling fans for the induction power units are not loud enough to be distracting. As of this writing, the cooktop has been in use just over 2 weeks

We purchased this product right before the COVID-19 social distancing began so we've been using it constantly while cooking at home. It has made cooking a pleasure. We love the high quality knobs, and they allow precise temperature settings with the digital display. Boils water in 3 minutes and the temperature reduces immediately when turned down. And one of the best features is that it is so much easier to clean than that gas cooktop we replace. Great value for the price.

We've had this cook top installed for a month and it works exactly as hoped. We are still getting used to how quickly induction heats and how hot it can get, but overall, it's such an amazing change switching from traditional electric to this. We'd been warned about how easily dutch ovens can scratch the glass surface and I did purchase teflon burner covers to try to protect it, but even when we haven't used the covers, I haven't noticed scratching. It is a bit noisy when operating, it sounds like fans blowing and can be a little high-pitched, but it's not really that big of a deal to me. I really love this cooktop. He had ours custom painted to match our oven and dishwasher for a 1960's look.

looks nice and stands out among the rest of inductions cooktops by having the knobs. When works, the cooktop boils water fast and heats cookware as expected. HOWEVER be aware of the following negatives: No matter what induction-ready cookware we tried, including cast iron or stainless steel from the makes of All-Clad, Le Creuset, Great Jones, every thingle one was making a notable buzzing, and with the largest coil irritating high-pitch noises. As this is our first induction cooktop, we were surprised to find out that there is a constantly buzzing fan under the cooktop which turns on as soon as any knob on the cooktop is turned, even thought the user manual clearly states that the quiet fan turns on only when the power usage is high. Additionally, the pretty-looking surface of the cooktop is actually it's weak spot, as it scratches relatively easily. Since other induction brands can make quiet cooktops, we suspect this one has design flaw or uses cheaper coils that are not optimized for silent operation. Lastly, after first use, the largest element just stopped working refusing to heat up the pans. No errors, no abnormal sounds, just no heat. After difficulty getting hold of support we tried resetting the cooktop by cutting power to it and fortunately that remedied the problem, however this is a bad omen making us worry about the quality of this $2000 piece.
