After years of cooking with gas I recently made the move to this Frigidaire Induction Range with Convection Oven and couldn't be happier. Installation and operation are a breeze and both the range and oven heat up super quickly and retain a consistent temperature. We've been cooking and baking up a storm since. Great looking product also and the glass cooktop is very easy to clean. P.S. Also bought a Frigidaire small French door refrigerator and equally impressed with it.

Great Range at a Great Price

I switched from gas to induction and am very pleased with my purchase. The stove cooks fast and evenly, and is very easy to clean. Haven't done much baking yet, but it seems to heat very evenly. Control buttons took a little getting used to, but overall this seems to be a well made unit at a very reasonable price.

I ordered this product and received it in April. I am now surprised by all the good reviews I read about it before I purchased it. I really wanted a good product that work well and would last and wasn't concerned about the bells and whistles on the more expensive models ! It's my first induction range ( not my first time using one) and after having it for about 3 days I used the cooktop to make pasta. I used my pasta pot on the large burner and the normal amount of water needed for the pasta ... and it took 30 minutes on the P (Power boil ) setting to come to a boil, a low rolling boil and it never boiled any faster. The pasta that should have been finished in 11 minutes took 20 minutes. I also had the same issue making stir fry shortly after that. The burner never got really hot in the way that it should to cook in a wok ( flat bottom induction). And it took forever to cook the veggies ! I immediately called Frigidaire , who made an appt. with a local repair company to look at the stove, but they never showed up on the scheduled day and after I called them they said they don't work with warranty Frigidaire items. Then they made me an appt. with another local company who also never showed up and told me that's not how it works... After finally getting a repair guy out to look at it, he ( without testing it ) decided he knew the issue , but clearly didn't listen to me and ordered one part for one side of the stovetop and he just came back today to install the part. I realized he didn't order the part for both sides so now he has to come back again ! And on top of that , on the side that he replaced , nothing changed. The pot of water we tested, absolutely did NOT boil 50% faster than my old gas range ! I am not mad at the repair company, I am mad because after talking to Frigidaire about the issue their only way of helping me replacing the stove if it's still not working when teh next part comes in. And i really would like a better quality stove, and would be will to return this and pay teh difference on a better quality range. I think that this one is just not that great and the way it has been working for me is as good as it's going to get ! So,I am not happy and would warn anyone looking at this model to stay away !

The installation contractor Frgidaire sent was excellent too.We've used it a couple of weeks now and are impressed.

Terrible custormer service

Purchased January 2025. Oven has never worked correctly--doesn't reach temperature and makes strange noises. It's now May, 2025, and after 3 service visits, an additional two scheduled visits that were cancelled (by service provider) and endless hours on hold trying to contact Frigidaire warranty service, no closer to having the issue resolved. Last repair person said it could not be fixed, yet Frigidaire scheduled another repair visit, which they cancelled the morning of the visit after waiting for two weeks. I'm writing this review while on hold. I'm not sure my experience could be much worse, but since I'm still trying to get this resolved, I will have the opportunity to find out

Love everything about this oven!The touch pad is very sensitive, so even if you brush up against it - it will beep. It does have a lock feature, but it will still beep if touched. The burner will cut off if you don't have a pot/pan on it -- so you have to be fast if you are switching things around while cooking.

I've only ever cooked with electric or gas for 25 years so this is a leap into the unknown for me. I wanted something that would not produce a lot of heat when in use because our house tends to run so hot all the time anyway. So far so good. The induction has the sensitivity and more precise nature of gas without the excessive heat production. Love the convention oven too. Our last range was old so this has been a major upgrade for us .

Touch pad controls aren't great

Overall I really like the new range and oven. Heats up super fast and provides even cooking. My only issue is that the controls are all capacitive touch, like a phone screen and sometimes it takes a couple tries to touch them in just the right spot. I have found that using the pad of your finger, rather than the end or tip of your finger seems to work better, but it's not a natural position for your wrist to bend back like that to get the finger pad into the right position. If the buttons were actual buttons it would be a perfect stove.

This is my first experience with induction. Once I educated myself on the process and bought the appropriate cookware, cooking on this range has been a good experience. It seems to cook a little higher/faster than my former electric range so I'm conscious to dial down the burners. I've used the oven to bake but have not tried the convection feature yet. Changing from a gas cooktop™€"which I've used for forty years™€"to induction has been easier than I thought. I do a lot of high-temperature Chinese cooking and my wok gets hotter on this stove than it ever did with gas. I haven't had problems with bumping into the front controls. My only gripe is that the power burner seems to have a hot spot. Food on that side of the pan always cooks faster. Oven heats evenly, however.

Induction shall replace radiant heat style stovetop burners eventually. Like anything new, it takes a little getting used to I™€™ve used an induction hot plate for years, so the cooktop is not foreign to me. The oven component cooks hotter and faster than I™€™m accustomed to. My former oven was accurate according to preparation instructions. Features I like are delayed oven start and oven-off timer.As for constructive suggestions, the front touch controls are low compared to the ™€œup top™€ type. Back lighting would help the view. The only thing I™€™m not fond of so far is that the general timer alarm doesn't time out on its own (that I know of) and it doesn™€™t turn any burner off. Pans heat as fast or faster than with gas and stop the instant you turn it off. The glass surface is easy to keep clean because food and spills don™€™t burn to it. Never a worry about non magnetic items on the cooktop getting heated accidentally.

So far we really like the induction range and it heats up much faster and cools down quickly. However the oven takes a very long time to preheat to higher temperatures. Much longer than our previous oven for some reason.

This is my second frigidaire induction cook top. The slide in induction range is simple and easy to clean like the drop in range. The storage drawer on the bottom is a little flimsy; however, this is one of the most affordable units available. The controls are not the most intuitive but they function as intended and the physical placement is better than the drop in range. The stove boils water very fast and overall no complaints so far
